Vexen. Once Even. Nr. 4 in Organization XIII; one of the six founding members.
One of the betrayers of Ansem the Wise, one of the releasers of Darkness, destroyers of Radiant Garden. Was it intentional?
The scientist of the group. The Frozen Scholar. The Chilly Academic.
Is he really the only one of the Ansem's six apprentices to hold on to science?
Wielding the element of ice. His weapon is a shield.
Conserving, inflexible, cold. Defensive.
The lowest throne of the Organization. Why?
The first to die.

I've been wanting to make a new Vexen-portrait for quite some time; I've come a long way in my Vexen-drawing since October. And so I finally got around to it. Such an intriguing character just can't be portrayed or contemplated enough.

So indeed, why is Vexen constantly officially referred to as the scientist of Organization XIII - weren't the other original 5 researchers as well? And if they were, why aren't they anymore?
Why is his throne so very, very low? Even the neophytes are placed higher.
How can one with such icy demeanor, such chilly element have such a hot temper? (Endearing.)
And finally; how is it possible that such a complex, intelligent and downright gorgeous man doesn't get more love? I-.. The world needs more Vexen art and fics. u.u
