Artist's Comments

Shi'lin Pantheron, feline shapeshifter and one of the most powerful among the dark Tanin. Molded by centuries of demanding service to chaos and discord, he has become a vile and perverted character.
Serving a cruel and capricious master of chaos is still the easier choice, and his only sanctuary. Since childhood, for over half a millenuim, Pantheron has been hounded and hunted by his unremitting adversary; the black unicorn-Tanin Cthratos, whose only love was long ago slain by a cat too young and inexperienced to think a unicorn different than any other prey.
Ever since that fateful day, the panther-Tanin has spent his life on the run, starting wildfires and spreading chaos to throw obstacles in his nemesis' path, to keep ahead. Should his black shadow ever catch up, he will have much to pay for.

This is fantastic! Your coloring leaves my absolutly breathless. I think what strikes me most are his hair and eyes, but mostly the eyes.

Wow.

The smokey curls of hair are so delicately rendered, I feel like I could reach through the screen and stroke them... they'd feel like running your hand through silk and mist. Hehh...

In anycase, great cropping and blending of the two different pictures. It gives you such a great feeling for their connection... and the dusty dusk is just gorgeous behind the bobcat. Fantastic job with the cat too. ^_^V

Well, maybe a bit like Xellos, but without the annoyingly cute part. In fact, I think this guy's master is probably more of a Xellos, personality-wise. Pantheron is just the constant loser underdog. Cat. Whatever. ,)p

i love how you portray hair in your works. so beautiful and unique. the story is so intriguing to. i don't know whether to hate him or pity him. tanin is, sadly, a story i haven't learned a lot about yet. i really love how you've colored his nose on this. i know that's an odd part of a picture to comment on, but i think it's just colored so well. i like the sun rising/setting over the hazy horizon. at first i wasn't sure if it was good to have the background so blurry, but i think it works. i know he's centuries old, but his grey hair makes his youthful face appear older than it otherwise would at first glance. i like the grey though, fits with the cats hair color. maybe with a little more brown thrown in though. anyway, it's a gorgeous piece.

"That's not Fair!"
"Really? You say that so often. I wonder what your basis for comparison is?" :sushi: :fuzzydemon:

Lovely color... and the hair is so curly and silken looking.

Lt. Maria Laguerta: So then he must have already had the head with him in the front seat. Huh, that's weird. Why would he keep it there?
Dexter Morgan: I don't know. So he could use a carpool lane.
