Cthratos, the sleek draconic unicorn of my post-Pangaea story Tanin, in his true as well as humanoid shape.
This character is a goodguy, despire his fearsome looks. ... Well, he opposes the badguys, anyway. That pretty much makes him the protagonist.
Though I suppose it's a matter of fighting on the right side rather than doing the right things - this ancient, ruthless creature will shy away from no means to reach his goal; the obliteration of the enemies who oppose him.

This is soooo gorgeous. I don't even know where to begin explaining what I love. The movement of it is beautiful - the movement of the hair - and I love the expressions. From those narrowed eyes, you can definitely tell they're the same. The jagged ear rather than a simple pointed is really neat; and I can't stop staring at the luminous jewel on his forehead, which seems so three-dimensional. :heart:

Wow, this work is truly stunning--your use of the darker shades in particularly is spectacular. I love your outlook on the unicorn--the more delicate, longer-limbed frame and slender petite head give it a definite separation from a horse. The hooves also seem elongated to me, and it's an interesting look. I'm in love with the mane as well, the fan of it is remarkable in adding life to the picture. Beautiful work!

I like the native american look you gave the character. Kind of like ElfQuest....ok, I am rambling.

I've noticed that the style in which you drew the the unicorn is different from the style of the cat in your Pantheros pic. While the cat seemed to look almost something like a photo, while in this case the unicorn looks very stylized. Feh, like I know anything.

Keep up the wonderful work!

Well, that goes for both face and animal - this was the first one I did. For the other I had already experimented with the concept, so I could put more attention into the details.
Then again, I like stylized as well as photo-realistic - most of my art tends to end up somewhere in between. ;)
