Deviousness |
But yes, the mutual crazy probably helped...
How did these three even meet and get together? Emilio might be happy to have someone to work with after he lost his mafia, but I'd expect John to be used to working alone... and certainly not with crazy teenager girls.
Emilio was the leader of an another enclave of survivors on the other side of town until very recently - a very differently run one, with military discipline under martial law, enforced by his personal little army. But it was working, very well, until the undead breached the stronghold one night and a veritable massacre ensued. In the chaos Emilio fought desperately to save the situation, but in the end it stood clear there would be no survivors and he had to run for his life. Sheer dumb luck had him hounded in the general direction of the Library-colony, and finally took him and his pursuers into John's line of fire. Which was lucky for him, but not the zombie-vampires. X3
In the end, he's allowed to join the Library-colony half on probation - his way of running his settlement was not popular, and probably more than one of the Library colony's denizens were turned away from there and suffered greatly for it before they found new shelter. He's not very popular, understandably, and not one bit trusted.
John doesn't mind, though. Emilio on watch/firearm back-up duty on the roof with him means half the work for him, with the added benefits of total eyecandy and having someone inferior at sniping to be snarky at. X3
Which brings me to yet another question... considering the relationship between John and Jessica, is Emilio safe from the dreaded butt-checking gentleman or not?
And of course he isn't. They're a threesome with loyalty, bickering and sexual tension working all ways. X3
Ooooh, sounds yummy.
And John can be every bit as persuasive as Jessica...She looks so casual and calm, but I'm also getting this devious, dangerous view of her given the background.
I love how realistic you've done all their designs and the actual drawings, they just look amazing.
Most of the time she's just an ordinary bubbly, funny teenage girl. Except when she's kicking undead ass in the ghostly ruins of civilization. u.u
I think it's that mix of silly and grim I really like about her.
